The exhibition, co-organised with the Regional Directorate of National Museums of Tuscany, celebrates Beato Angelico, a key figure of the Renaissance, through a dual venue at Palazzo Strozzi and the Museum of San Marco.
It explores his artistic development and influence alongside artists like Masaccio, Lippi, and Ghiberti. Featuring exceptional loans from major international museums, it reunites masterpieces unseen for over two centuries.
Curated by Carl Brandon Strehlke, with contributions from Stefano Casciu and Angelo Tartuferi, the show offers a rare opportunity to rediscover Angelico’s innovation, spirituality, and mastery of light and space in a groundbreaking artistic context.
